These color charts are unreliable: inconsistencies in hardware, in browser software, and in monitor settings cause major inconsistencies in how colors are represented. No online color chart can reliably represent the differences between relatively similar hues such as ice blue and baby blue. The best solution is to order a color that you know ... we'll know it, too. Probably.
We made this one, and, for the reasons noted in the disclaimer above, we're not crazy about it. This chart is limited to commonly requested colors that we can represent fairly accurately.
This chart is widely used by dyers in Nepal. They don't have names for many of the colors represented by these thread samples -- and neither do we. However, you can simply refer to the thread numbers that appear above each thread sample: just enter the thread sample number in the "ordering instructions" box on the online shopping cart page. To be safe, you might add the name of that color as you perceive it. If we see a discrepancy between the thread number and the color name, we will contact you for a clarification before processing the order.
